Westcore, a real estate investment and management firm, has acquired a 506,164 square-foot industrial campus in Broomfield, Colorado, a city in the Denver metropolitan area. The $48 million purchase from Commander Leasing LLC includes 11 buildings on 35 acres. The fully leased asset is located in Denver’s Northwest Corridor, which is one of the city’s leading infill industrial markets in high demand.
“We are encouraged by the strong market dynamics, including significant supply constraints and multiple demand drivers that will allow us to add significant value to the portfolio over time,” said Mike Metzger, Westcore’s Director of Acquisitions. Westcore’s extensive renovation and branding plan includes a new paint scheme, parking lot upgrades, and various other improvements.
Tyler Carner, Jeremy Ballenger, Jim Bolt, and Jessica Ostermick of CBRE represented the seller, while Westcore represented itself in the transaction.
